Microsoft - Cup Creativity

Owaisis team won the third level in the competition of Microsoft's globally – Imagine Cup, which concluded its activities in New York on Thursday, July 14th, 2011.

Eng. Atef AL Tal, the Minister of Communication and Information Technology sponsored the opening of Information Technology Students Activity Fair-ITSAF 2011, which was held at Petra University for two days July 13th -14th, 2011. Fifteen Arab and Jordanian universities and number of institutions and companies supported the gallery.

Dr. Marwan Muwalla, Vice President of Petra University welcomed the Minister of Information Technology, the guests and representatives of associations. He said that this exhibition is a result of previous success outcomes. It has a set of student activities at the level of Jordan and the Arab world.

Marwan Muwalla, the Vice President of Petra University opened training session on The art of communication and dealing with audience held by Continuing Education Center and presented by Dr. Saheer AL Soudani for the University staffs.  Dr. Marwan stated that this session will be for free and in order to develop the worker scientific and practical skills.

The course is organized by the Center for Continuing Education and Community Service. It is assigned for Petra University's employees and is carried out by Dr. Suheir Al Sudani. Dr. Marwan stated that: this 'free' session comes as part of a training plan covering all employees aimed at developing their communication skills.
